Even when the weather is not what you would normally choose there are some fabulous moody evenings when the mist settles on St Mary’s Loch and surrounding hills.
Osprey returns
I read that ospreys have been returning in other places but today is the first time this year that I saw one on our side of the loch.

Sailing
Delighted to see some sailing on St Mary’s loch today.
First Guests leave us!
Our first guests have just left after a long weekend at the Half House. Despite dubious weather this Easter they told us they had a great time! Many thanks for the card, it’s now on our mantlepiece – glad you liked the shortbread too!
